Canada Post Strike-What You Need to Know

Thank you for visiting. I want to keep you fully informed- a Canada Post strike has been confirmed and could begin as early as May 23, 2025.

While we're all hoping for a swift resolution- I'm sharing this update so you can make the best decision for your keepsake timeline and peace of mind.

If You've Already Sent Your Inclusions

No Need to worry- just be sure to send your tracking number to me so we can monitor the package together.

Your package may be temporarily delayed at a customs or processing facility in Canada. It won't be lost, just paused until service resumes.

If You Haven't Sent Your Inclusions yet

It may be best to hold off on mailing them until I can confirm the strike has ended.

I will reach out personally to let you know when it's safe to send again.

If you'd still prefer to send them now, please send the tracking number once shipped.

Shipping Alternatives

Please be aware:

FedEx and UPS can be used as alternatives to Canada Post but often charge brokerage fees- sometimes unexpectedly and at a high cost.

If you're sending from within Canada, you can explore other options such as: ChitChats, Canpar, Purolator.

As always, local meet- up is an option if you're in the Surrey/ Langley BC, Canada area.

If you're unsure what's best based on your location, feel free to reach out and I can help guide you.

Will My Finished Jewelry Be Delayed?

Likely not. I'll be usuing alternative couriers for return shipments, especially to U.S clients, so your finished piece will still arrive on time once completed.

However, if your inclusions are delayed getting to me, or material needed to create your piece, this may affect when I can start working on your piece.

Questions or Concerns?

I know this is a sensitive and meaningful process, and the last thing I want is for your keepsake to be caught in limbo. Please don't hesitate to reach out directly if you have any questions or would like help figuring out your best shipping option.

I'm here to support you every step of the way.

With care,

Mandy
