Pregnancy test jewelry holds a meaning that is difficult to put into words. For some, it represents a moment of pure joy. For others, it holds grief, longing, and love for a life that changed them forever. Often, it is both at once.
A pregnancy test is more than plastic and lines; it is a pause in time, a breath held, and a moment where everything shifts.
Pregnancy test jewelry allows that moment to be preserved, not as something hidden away in a drawer, but as a tangible keepsake you can carry with you.
Why Pregnancy Test Jewelry?
Pregnancy tests often mark the very beginning of a story. Sometimes that story continues, and sometimes it changes in ways we never expected.
Many of my clients choose pregnancy test jewelry to honour:
- a baby they carried, even briefly
- a pregnancy that ended too soon
- years of infertility, IVF, or waiting
- the hope that arrived after loss
- a rainbow pregnancy and how far they've come
For me, pregnancy test jewelry is always about hope. Even in grief, hope exists. It may look different than we imagined, but it is still there. These pieces become a bridge between grief and hope, remembrance and love.
Who Is Pregnancy Test Jewelry For?
This jewelry is for anyone who feels a connection to that test and what it represents. It's for:
- loss parents
- IVF and infertility families
- new mothers and mothers honouring a pregnancy
- those celebrating a rainbow
- those holding space for both joy and grief
There is no "right" reason to want pregnancy test jewelry. If it matters to you, it maters.
How Pregnancy Test Jewelry Is Made
Each piece is made slowly and intentionally. Depending on the design you choose, your stone may be created using:
- the test cap only
- or the indicator strip if the result lines are being preserved
- or both
Only what is needed is taken. I carefully carve out material as I go, ensuring nothing is wasted.
Pregnancy test material can be combined with any other inclusions such as
- Breastmilk
- cremation ashes
- hair, flowers, soil, sand, or any other inclusions
What Types of Pregnancy Tests Can Be Used?
All types of pregnancy tests are accepted. Brand does not matter. This includes:
- stick tests
- strip tests
- digital tests
First Response tests often appear solid light pink at first, but they are actually quite opaque. Through careful layering, they are transformed into a soft pink stone with depth and delicacy.
If you're unsure whether your test can be used, I'm always happy to talk it through with you.

How to Order Pregnancy Test Jewelry
Pregnancy test jewelry is ordered the same way as other keepsake pieces.
- Choose the jewelry piece you feel drawn to.
- When selecting your inclusion from the dropdown menu, choose Pregnancy Test.
IVF & Fertility Journey Keepsakes
Keepsake jewelry can also honour the fertility journey itself, not just the outcome.
Many IVF and infertility families may choose to include meaningful items such as:
- socks worn to appointments or transfers
- hospital or clinic wristbands
- ultrasound photos
- medication remnants
- packing or materials tied to treatment
These inclusions can be preserved on their own or combined with pregnancy test material, creating a piece that reflects the full story; the waiting, the courage, the heartbreak, the resilience, the love, and the hope.
Will the Test Lines Fade Over Time?
Pregnancy test lines are carefully preserved within the resin and remain stable with normal wear. To honour the longevity of your keepsake, we recommend avoiding prolonged direct sun exposure, just as you would with any meaningful heirloom piece.
If you would like the result lines visible in your stone, the full test is required. If you prefer a more abstract or subtle stone made only from the cap, only the cap is needed.
Customization & Enhancements
Each keepsake can be customized to reflect your story and your style. Enhancements can include:
- foils and flake accents
- pigments, sparkles and shimmers
- genuine crushed gemstones
Pregnancy test and IVF jewelry isn't about a trend or a moment that has passed. It's about honouring what was, what is, and what will always matter.
If this speaks to you, you're in the right place, and if you're not ready yet, that's okay too.
Hope doesn't rush.
From my heart to yours,
Mandy
