Whether you're preparing for future keepsake jewelry or simply want your breastmilk safely preserved, this service gives you the flexibility to save what's meaningful now and decide how you'd like to use it later.
This service is available in two ways:
Add-On Preservation
If you already have a keepsake order, you can send a second bag of milk to be preserved for future pieces. It will be logged under your existing order number and safely stored until you're ready to use it. Any leftover powder after your final piece, is stored for future use unless you request it to be returned.
Standalone Preservation
If you'd like to preserve milk without jewelry, your milk will be preserved, powdered, and returned to you as a keepsake in itself.

Return shipping of preserved milk in a clear screw-top container (for standalone service).

When your powdered milk is ready to be returned (for standalone preservation), it will arrive in a small, secure container with a screw-top lid for safe storage at home.
Any remaining powder after your final piece is safely stored for future orders, unless you request that it be sent back to you.
Milk naturally varies in colour, and preserved milk does too - this is completely normal and part of the beauty of handcrafted keepsakes.
Fresh, frozen, thawed or even spilled milk is fine - the only milk I cannot work with is moldy milk.
Shipping to send your milk to me is at your costs, and I cannot be responsible for delays or damage during transit.

Once your order is placed, you'll receive an email within 24 hours with everything you need to prepare and send your inclusions safely. This includes detailed packing instructions, my mailing address, and your unique order number
Please ensure your inclusions are labeled with your name and order number before sending them.
Using Your Preserved Milk Later
Using Your Preserved Milk Later
Once your milk arrives, it is logged and stored under your unique order number (from your confirmation email). If attached to a keepsake order, it can be safely held until you're ready to use it. When you order your next piece, simply leave your previous order number in the note box at checkout so I know which batch belongs to you.

To keep your powdered milk fresh, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and avoid moisture.
Properly stored, it can remain suitable for future keepsake projects for months or until you're ready to use it.
